Can anyone tell me what bug would leave this on the leaves. When I looked into it I noticed there were no bugs in them as if they already hatched.

Ugh I got these in the house on a lemon tree I brought in for winter. My cats like playing with them 🤦 I have gotten so used to them I just grab them and toss them outside when I see them.

“Just toss them outside” where do you all live because wherever it is, I’m not going. 😳 I don’t do well with random bugs popping out of nowhere.

Central PA, USA! My job has an outdoor component which sometimes has me in very buggy situations, so my tolerance for bugs is... Unusually high lol
