# Hi Holly here I have a question i have a monstera plant thats growing…

Hi Holly here I have a question i have a monstera plant thats growing weird you'll see the pic in a sec one of the stems is growing off to the side and it did produce a new big leaf how can I fix it or should I just leave it be thanks for any advice

It’s looking for more soil, nutrients, and room, do that and water a bit and you’ll be good.

The leaf on the left needs to be affixed to the post. That may shift the original leaves a bit but the one on the left is the main stem. Also it is very leggy so it probably needs more light. If you’re fertilizing and watering regularly I don’t think you need to repot if you have a good support.

It cant be bent because it would definitely break and I have a moss pole should i put another moss pole in it

Keep in mind. Monsteras are climbers. They want to climb. Check the pot also that the roots have room. They love having tighter pots but still enough to stretch their paws lol

Make sure it is “facing the sun”!

Ok thanks it might need to be put in a slightly larger pot

You should keep the leaves facing the sun. Basically half of it should get zero sun because that back side that has the “trunk” would normally be growing up a tree.
