I’m curious. My Calathea Dottie has this new green sprout I’ve never seen- they’ve all been like the purple one I circled. Does anyone know the difference? Love this plant- about killed her but brought her back. Missing leaves on one side are courtesy of my stinking cat. 😂

Interesting! I’ve heard that calatheas can lose their color and revert to green if they’re not getting enough water

I would love to know your secret! I have the worst luck with calatheas🤦🏽‍♀️! It is trying to show growth so I am hanging in there but Sis is one leaf away from can!

I know they can be fussy! Three things I did- first, she wasn’t getting enough light so she’s now in front of an east facing window. (She’d lost all but about 4 leaves so I brought her back from that). There’s a little first sun but not a lot. Second I water only with distilled water. And third I mist her every single day. Good luck! I was scoping out a Calathea Couture yesterday- GORGEOUS! (And, incidentally my maiden name 😉). Might have to get one!
