# Green colored tradescantia (fluminensis Variegata) has slowly invaded…

_Gepostet von Sunny am 2024-11-27_

Green colored tradescantia (fluminensis Variegata) has slowly invaded my old nest of tradescantia purple heart. The green colored tradescantia came from a plant that died last summer. A piece probably broke off and rooted on some pine needles. The several days of freezing weather didn’t kill it last winter. This is why tradescantia plants are considered invasive weeds in many warm areas.

I’m sure if I potted some of it that it would die like the mother plant!😁

Wait why would it die?
