I have never learned to do anything DIY construction-wise so I was pretty proud of myself for bugging a diamond head drill bit for my Dremel (that I use for my dogs nails) and drilled some drainage holes in the bottom of two small pots.

I detest pots without drainage and thes had two plants in them my daughter-in-law bought. Now they'll be perfect as starting pots for cuttings or rooting leaves.

Great job. I bought a larger drill bit just for that purpose and it stays with my plant supplies. Full disclosure, I have broken a couple planters in the process, but I’m glad I invested in one.
