# Picked this Costa Farms mystery up at Lowes on clearance and it had…

Picked this Costa Farms mystery up at Lowes on clearance and it had no tag to say what it is. Each AI tells me it’s something different, including Google reverse image search.

Leaves are fuzzy, but more matte velvet fuzzy than teddy bear vine fuzzy. Leaves are also varying in size throughout.

Anyone know what it might be?

It looks a lot like a peperomia orba pixie lime! I had one that I absolutely loved because of its pretty light green color, but it got root rot 🫠.  
It wasn’t fuzzy, but it was the same color and leaf shape as yours, so maybe similar?

This is what Planta tells me it is and Wikipedia has a page for Peperomia blanda which seems like a match but Planta doesn’t have it as an option

This is my pixie lime. Is your leaf fuzzy/ velvety all over or just the underside? My pixie lime is fuzzy on the underside of its leaf.

Mine feel the same on top and bottom, but visually the pixie lime is the closest I’ve found. Also it has this … flower?

I think that you have a blanda not a pixie lime. However, the care should be the same.

Ok so I went back to Lowe’s and looked for another hanging basket with the same plant. I searched through what they had and found one with a hang tag which said it was a pixie line! Mystery solved!
