growing avocado for the first time!! does anyone have any tips? i’m wondering if it’s time to transition to soil

OMG what a nice plant!!

I have grown a couple of those. I know it sounds counter-intuitive but you should cut your plant down to half it's size, like every time it grows six inches, cut it down to three. That way it will be more bushy and grow out rather than up. My first one just grew up and flopped over.
