# Hi! Need some advice! I bought these two marble queens to hopefully…

_Publié par Emmarinda Crochets le 2026-02-27_

Hi! Need some advice! I bought these two marble queens to hopefully frame this doorway as they grow. I can’t decide if I should hang them and wrap them downwards or keep them on the ground and let them climb the metal. My dilemma is that I want the leaves to stay small and I am concerned that letting it climb would ruin that. Also, I’m just unsure which would look better. Any opinions are welcome! (Also I know it looks so messy, I swear cleaning up the weeds is next on my todo list)

Both would look great, just be aware of how much sun each side gets, it’s very likely one side will grow faster than the other and it will look uneven. I would also say because there isn’t much for them to climb on either way you would probably have to help them along (making sure their vines stay wrapped as they climb or trail)

Our house actually points fairly eastward so it might not be too lopsided! But that’s a very good point

You should be okay if it’s straight on then, I’m just speaking from personal experience lol! I hope it goes well, my manjula can be a slow grower but she sure is beautiful!

Ive had her for a few years now, she’s definitely doing better in the new spot I put her in, she’s appreciating the humidity of the other plants for sure!

Hanging would give you a vining affect going down which would be nice. Bottom going up would cause them to get bigger (they can get the size of monsteras tbh) and would look more tropical. So I guess it all really depends on the image you got in your head! 😅😊
