I’m a beginner. Just bought a golden pothos from the store \& was told to repot it. What should I do next?

yikes — i would say these are the only two viable pieces you have

i suggest giving them a little dunk in hydrogen peroxide to treat bacteria from this rot, and then potting in a very small pot with drainage

I can’t believe they sold you this plant…I hope it was very cheap. This is super sick

Just a dip? Is miracle grow potting mix ok to use? How much water \& sun light?

omg that’s wild…

I don’t use miracle grow, personally, but if that’s what you have, go with it. maybe add a little extra perlite if you have it or can get it easily.

you want to water only when the soil dries out and these do well in most light. bright indirect light— east or west facing windows are best, near but not directly in front of a south facing window works too. i’ve also seen these thrive in overhead fluorescents.

Keep in mind miracle grow soil is like a sponge. It holds onto a ton of moisture. If you can mix with chunky perlite and orchid bark for better drainage.
