# Hey everyone so I got this beautiful little girl from Lowe’s for 3$ !…

Hey everyone so I got this beautiful little girl from Lowe’s for 3$ ! She was originally 15$ but the lady was nice at the counter and hit the tag switch-a-roo herself 😂😂. I do see leaves on bottom that aren’t healthy what’s the best way to get rid of those , trim or let it fall off ?

I would snip those at the base that have lost their color. They are just wasting energy now instead of providing it. Snip close to the base couple inches from soil.

I agree, remove them they are dead.

I like to wait for them to get loose, then tug them off. if it's still in the process of yellowing, I like to wait, because the plant can still take the remaining nutrients out of it.
