# this jade plant has not been doing great, i watered it a few weeks…

this jade plant has not been doing great, i watered it a few weeks ago before leaving for a trip, so to make sure it would be okay, but i think it got overwatered because the leaves are very squishy and turning a darker colour, any advice on how to maybe save that plant?

Try laying off the water a little, and mist it instead

The mist keeps it nice and moist, without overhydrating it.

Check the roots for rot, and if it’s not rotting, it’s fine. Check between every watering to see if it’s completely dry with a wooden skewer
