# Hey all! I had leftover orchid fertilizer and wondering if I can use…

_Posted by Kirsten on 2024-06-08_

Hey all! I had leftover orchid fertilizer and wondering if I can use it on non-orchids? I no longer have an orchid, but I have spider plant, aloe, monstera, snake plant, Purple Heart, succulent, jade, and pothos. Just wondering if I can reuse this fertilizer or not?

I have 2 spider plants and they can enjoy the fertilizer but they can’t live off it. I’m sure you can use it on the other ones as well, but make sure you’re also fertilizer based off the planta app and maybe google a little bit if you’re still unsure. Hope this helped!

That is a high phosphorus fertilizer so it’s best for flowering plants, vegetables, etc. I would look up your plants and see if any of them can handle high phosphorus. Too much will make your leaves yellow ☹️
