# Anyone know why my snake plant leaf could be turning yellow? The…

Anyone know why my snake plant leaf could be turning yellow? The whole leaf is slowly turning yellow too. It was recently water and overall seems pretty happy. It's also growing new leaves so don't know if that could be the problem 🤷🏼‍♀️. Just trying to keep my plant healthy and alive 😊. Thank you in advance

I'd it possibly just an older leaf? The other common reason is often over watering, if not pests are seen

It probably is older. I got the plant from my grandma like a year and a half ago and knew she has had the plant for a while. I have no clue how old it actually is. I follow what this app says for watering and checked if for bugs but don't see any.

That may be it than. I've had to adjust the watering schedule for a few plants on here, but for the most part it's not bad.
