This was given to me by a coworker and i love it a lot, it’s been growing so much in the month Ive had it! (2nd photo was the day I got it, March 27th)

I’ve seen some of these get all long and leggy and was hoping to stop that process while this one is still small. i keep seeing “prune it to encourage lateral growth” but do I just chop off the tip? This one has three distinct stems.

I’m completely new to plant ownership, this was one of the first plants i’ve owned. Any advice is appreciated!

I also have a Chinese money plant, I bought it with two stems! I love keeping it together in one pot to add to the shrubbery look. It truly is the pass it on plant. Within the last year it doubled in size and now has three new shoots starting on its own!

Not looking leggy to me. Leggy-ness is often a problem with lighting as well as lack of pruning. From what I see, it’s gorgeous. Keep it up. As far as pruning, cut it back to where you prefer the “lateral” growth just above the node.

Mine stayed shorter and bushy for a long time until I moved to a location with lower light. I think as long as you give it a lot of light, it shouldn’t get leggy.

As a plus, too, the leaves got huge and it even bloomed when it was a few feet away from a south-facing window.
