I just bought this plant maybe 2 weeks ago and was wondering what this white spot was on the leaf? could it be variegation??

looks like bleaching. what’s the lighting situation

If it was white when you got it, then, it could excess lighting at the growers. This assumes it got good lighting in your home. It would be nothing to worry about.

Also, the white markings can show up on new leaves. Sometimes it’s insufficient nutrients. Sometimes it just happens. It usually clears up as the new leaf darkens.
