I am using the Plant app for 4 months now and really like it. I am confused when the app suggests applying fertilizer and whether it is to be seen as a regular water day! I use liquid fertilizer (granulated fertilizer dissolved in water). Any helpful replies are appreciated.

Use the fertilizer when the plant needs watered anyway. Fertilizing counts as a watering too. Both boxes will get checked if you just check the fertilize one

As long as you have liquid fertilizer selected as your preferred method, then yes it would count as watering as well 😊  
You can double check the system by looking at your history and care info and making sure the correct amount of days have gone by. (I. E. care info suggests 5, history shows you watered 4/5 days ago).

I honestly just ignore all the suggestions and tasks planta assigns me😹 I snooze them all and mostly use the app as a social media and log my plants existence
