Plants is giving mixed… _happysoxdonkeyさんが2025-06-15に投稿しました_ Can anyone confirm that this is a snake plant? Plants is giving mixed ID, as either a snake plant or a type of Hoya. The leaves do feel a bit thick and waxy so maybe it is a Hoya? I ordered a pet friendly mystery box and this is what I received. If it is a snake plant then it is toxic. I reached out to the company but haven’t yet received a reply. I have a puppy who puts EVERYTHING in his mouth so I need to be extra vigilant. ETA: I took all the helpful information from everyone and searched their website and now I do think it is a Hoya. I will keep it in the garage away from Samwise Potato until the confirm but I’m a bit relieved that it will probably be OK. This will be my first Hoya so I will be super excited to have one! It looks like it could be a Hoya Pubicalyx! Oh thank you. I was so worried that it’s a snake plant but it doesn’t quite look like any snake plant varieties I have researched. I agree, looks like a Hoya pubicalyx. I second. That to me is a Hoya. I hope so! If it is I’ll be very happy with it. This looks more like a Hoya than a snake plant to me. That being said, I would keep it away from curious puppies until you hear back from the company 🐶 #### happysoxdonkeyさんが2025-06-15に返信しました Thank you. This guy never stops picking up \*snack\* whenever he can! This is the face that says “yes it is pretty, but can I eat it?”
