# Hi Planta community, I am very new to owning plants and I got this…

Hi Planta community,

I am very new to owning plants and I got this Ginseng Bonsai few months ago. It’s been doing great till few weeks back until it started shedding leaves like crazy. The only change was I moved it to slightly lower light setting. Would greatly appreciate any tips on saving it from dying?

I know ficus don’t like being moved and can drop leaves. Why move it to a lower light setting? Ficus likes full sunlight.
