# Idk if I’m just paranoid but I feel like this basil plant is growing…

Idk if I’m just paranoid but I feel like this basil plant is growing weird? I think I’ve been pruning it in the wrong places maybe? Could anyone give me pointers on where to prune next time it’s necessary? I’m not sure if I should cut off the bigger leaves towards the top or the bottom, i just don’t wanna mess it up lol pls help

Looks great! Just go ahead and pinch that taller side at the same hight you did the other side. Those baby leaves will continue growing and it will branch out each time you prune it so it eventually becomes a bush. It grows two stems out of the pruned spot each time. It looks like you are doing it correctly, pruning just above the leaf joints. Just do it in the same place on all branches at the same time from now on.😊
