Has anyone used the We The Wild hydro pellets successfully? I’m trying to prop a cutting (my first!) and it seems like it makes the water really scummy really fast. It says on the packaging to replace the water every 2-3 weeks but I had to replace mine after four days because the water got so brown and nasty. Should I just invest in Prop Drops or stay the course?

I use them quite often \& dont seem to have any troubles with it. The roots seem to emerge \& grow a lot quicker using these pellets. Is your cutting in a clear or see-through jar/container? As I have found the water stays much fresher if the sun/light doesn't actually hit the water

I’m using the see through glass prop vase that came with the pellets at Target. I’ll have to see if I can find an opaque bud vase around here.
