# Hi Everyone!! New plant mom here! I bought this beautiful Lilly from…

_Publicado por Khush99 el 2025-03-02_

Hi Everyone!! New plant mom here! I bought this beautiful Lilly from Trader Joe’s and it was in good condition when I bought but now the leaves are drooping and curling up. I water every 4-5 days or when the upper layer of soil feels dry. Can someone please suggest me what’s going wrong?
Appreciate your support in advance! 😊

Peace lilies prefer low light levels, so I would move it to somewhere where it will not get any direct or bright sunlight. Maybe an office or bedroom with a west facing window

I’d also recommend using filtered/distilled water. my peace lilly hates our tap and our taps pretty “clean”

Perfect time to buy one. I just brought mine out of the dark and watered to prepare for spring. Filtered indirect like everyone else said. These guys aren't true lilies despite the name. They go dormant in the fall and winter so remember to put them in a dark and cool place when the time comes. They'll come back every year

This isn’t peace lily it’s African/arum lily and as per the app it needs bright indirect light. There is a window so it’s not getting direct light
