I’m alittle confused the app doesn’t tell me to mist plants daily but I’ve been always told to do so. Which do you guys do?

Misting arguably does nothing. I use the mist reminder, yes to mist, but to be regularly looking at all the plants. If your plant needs more humidity, a humidifier or a place in a bathroom with a shower is what is needed. Don’t stress too much over misting

I mist plants that genuinely benefit from it, like a couple of my ferns and my tillandsia. I started off misting everything because my home had low humidity, but over time it appeared that some plants "liked" it and others didn't seem to benefit or even suffered from it, so I narrowed it down to the ones that "like" it and my moss poles.

I’m finding that the room I have the plants in (the only I can have them in) if I mist daily some tend to get moldy.

No misting. I use a humidifier for my tropicals.

Misting doesn't raise humidity by any significant amount, so it's really not worth the time imo. My tropicals that need high humidity are in a grow house (76%). My other plant that requires a consistent amount of humidity (but not as high as tropicals) is in a metal cabinet with a cool mist humidifier

I don’t mist any of mine

I don’t mist at all it was causing mold so what I do is bring a couple in the bathroom and set them on the counter and they get steamed from the hot shower water, I have succulents so I can’t really use a humidifier cuz they don’t do well with it cuz they already hold so much water!! I just rotate what plants I bring into the bathroom every night.
