I just noticed a very defined purple vein coming in on my rattlesnake plant after 2+ years! Sooo cool to see the purple coming through to the top of the leaf, not just the entire underside!

Love it when the leaves have two different personnas. I also have a snake plant named Severus Snake🧙‍♂️

I actually disregard caring for it more than I’d like to admit but I’ve always sized it up before it became root bound, put it about 6-7 feet away from a window that’s got a full view of the sky! Normal fertilizing but I do forget sometimes and water with my sink well water😁

Oh ok thank you! You gave me a lot of insight. I wonder if mine is getting too much light it’s under a grow light and I have been misting every other day bc i thought they liked humidity. I’m going to move mine and see how what happens.

Awesome I’m so happy to hear! I think a grow light by itself isn’t enough light but you could have it setup the way I said plus your grow light just a little higher away from it (because it is a jungle floor plant)👍🏼🫶🏼

I forgot to add DO NOT BE AFRAID TO CUT LEAFS OFF!!

If they are old and showing it get out the scissors and hydrogen peroxide🤣
