# I’m new to plants and wondering if I’m doing something wrong with my…

I’m new to plants and wondering if I’m doing something wrong with my pink splash polka dot plant!  
She went from short and bushy but very pink and pretty to tall and growing like a weed but has lost almost all of her pink colour :(  
Is she unhappy even though she is growing so much? She’s (indirectly) under a grow light 12 hours a day and I mist her regularly and water when the soil feels dry.  
Any advice appreciated! 🪴🩷

I would think that’s because of not enough light!

Loss of pink is from too little light, but they grow taller easily and can be pinched back by their newest leaves in order to be bushy again

Thank you! I’ve moved the grow light closer to her, hopefully it will make a difference!
