What is this stuff? It must be this season, because all my ficus, of which I have five, have been dropping leaves recently. I’m guessing it’s just that time of year, because this has happened in the past. But this is new. Is it some kind of edema? Whatever it is, it’s making me nervous! TIA… 🤗💚🪴

Ficus edema can show up as redish or purple splotches. If you're sure there are no pests, that probably it. If it's happening on all of them, I'd definitely look at what soil you have them in. And your watering schedule

If it wipes off when you touch it it could be a type of fungus

I’m having the same issue. I’ve had the plant for almost a year, but the spots and drooping have shown up more lately. I think I might check the roots on mine.
