Hi I have reverse image searched in Google and can’t find the type plant this is. My friend gave it to me for my bday and she said she thinks Joseph’s Coat but isn’t sure. Anyone have any idea what this is? I want to enter it correctly! The mother one lost it’s leaves so I’m trying to bring it back and the tiny leaves are slowly growing!

This is a Party time plant (Alternanthera ficoidea) I have this plant but have not been able to make her happy. I hope you have better luck.

Thanks! Do you have in a window or under grow light?

Yes alternanthera ... It's fun to say once you figure it out! It can take full sun when it's planted outside but indoors Sun through the glass can be intensified so bright indirect light and some direct East Sun. If there's not enough light it will lose that pretty color. Not soggy, not dry and regular fertilization.

I don't know why it doesn't give me the reply option to your response 😕 Anyway, you're welcome! I previously had it under a growlight and currently it's near a window, which it seams to be doing a little better, but still not great. If I can manage to keep it alive until it warms up, it's going outside.
