# Any advice on how to get promote more branch growth for my money…

Any advice on how to get promote more branch growth for my money plant? It’s happy but it’s always only had these two branches/stems. The trunks are also pretty small considering I’ve had it for a year.

Yeah so what you need to do is pinch off the axial buds every couple weeks and it’ll start filling in. That lil green nub at the top of the stem.

Exactly!

That’s the axial bud, and it releases hormones that suppress the growth points lower down. When you remove it, you give an opportunity for one of those lower growth points to activate.
