Please can you help me. My Areca has been watered as suggested in the app and I've used a moisture meter to check I have watered enough but the leaves seem to be still going brown at the ends . What am I doing wrong ?

My spider plant does that because our house is so dry I have to mist my humid plants 3 times a day now that don’t happen anymore

You might consider adding a humidity tray or getting a small humidifier. I run a humidifier and I notice a big difference not only in the plants but in the human life in the house also.
