i honestly don’t think so. the only thing significant it adds is fertilizing reminders and their dr. planta ai which is usually not too accurate. i find it easier and better for my wallet to research on my own and post in the forums if i have a problem

i'm horrible at remembering a schedule so it helps me with remembering when i need to fertilize and mist, but if you're able to handle your plants schedule(s) on your own typically then its not necessary!

Depends on what you need it for… There’s a couple of added benefits like being able to log whether your plant is under a grow light, etc.

I got it on sale for $17 for the year, so that was worth it. But it really depends on your personal needs and what you want to track in the app.

There’s also the diagnosis tool, which is mildly helpful for some things. And the light meter, which I would recommend buying a physical light meter instead.

i’ve been using the free version for almost a year now and i don’t think i’m missing out on much. the watering reminder is enough for me - i don’t need any other reminders and if something is wrong with my plants i rather do my own research than use the ai
