A couple months ago or so I posted about my goldfish plant for help in hopes to prevent it from dying. She’s lookin SO GOOD now. 🤩

I picked up one a couple years ago that was bound for the trash. Now it is gorgeous and I can't wait for this year's bloom. It won't be long and yours will be this big.

I’m sooooooo excited for this. Goldfish plants have been a major just have for me for so long and I’m dying for it to bloom!

So what steps did you take to revive it?

It was dying due to possible overwatering but I put it in quarantine for a few weeks, repotted it into this clear plastic pot with some well draining soil. It kept deteriorating but once I was sure it was pest free I moved it into my grow cabinet and left it the heck alone and only watered when it was bone dry and now it’s doing fantastic. These plastic posts I use have a ton of drainage on the bottom so the soil gets dry super quickly and it seems to like it.

I’m sure it also has a bit of repot shock but I knew it needed way better soil and it had a decent root system. I also did a diluted peroxide water wash in the. Just to make sure to kill any bacteria in case there was root rot.

Irecently bought one. Tiny one! Can't wait for it to grow! Btw, that's a cute pot behind it!
