It almost look like the plant is peeling its green color off?? Planta thinks it could be thrips but I don’t see any bugs? Is your plant outdoors? It could be a pest more common in gardens rather than houseplants, like aphids, if that’s the case. #### Francescaさんが2024-05-14に返信しました No, my plant is indoors. Sadly very little does well outdoors where I’m at (Arizona). It’s so weird because it’s like chalky and you can wipe it off with your finger and it almost looks like macha powder when you wipe it off? App says thrips but I don’t see any thrips 😕 #### Adrianさんが2024-05-14に返信しました You can wipe it off?! That could be a good sign! Check to see if this plant can be cleaned with a cotton swab with alcohol and if it’s safe for this plant, wipe the excess just in case it is a pest and wipe as much as you can off. Monitor if it comes back #### Francescaさんが2024-05-14に返信しました It’s truly the most bizarre thing. When I tell people it wipes off all ideas go out the window lol. But I have him a good clean yesterday, hoping it was just a weird dusty something and not pests 🤞 #### Adrianさんが2024-05-14に返信しました Most of the stuff I’ve read on how to treat pests if they’re not causing serious damage and can be wiped off tends to suggest rubbing alcohol to wipe the leaves. Double check that your plant can handle rubbing alcohol, though, cause I’ve never had that specific plant before. Does the rest of it look good? No withered or discolored leaves or any limp or dark roots? If everything else looks good, you’ve checked the soil and leaves and everything other than the spots look healthy, than it might just be something like a small pest problem or excess salt or something that can be changed. ### Adrianさんが2024-05-13にコメントしました Found this about those types of spots from the web version of the app. Hope this helps! ### Adrianさんが2024-05-14にコメントしました For the spots I’m seeing on your plant, which look just like the ones on my hyacinths at the moment, I’d suggest looking up “Why Are There Brown Spots on My Garden Hyacinth?” Then type “Greg app” after it and search with that typed in through Google. I’d like to send the URL but for some reason the app won’t let me, so I’m sorry to say that’s the best I can tell you. And I’m sorry it’s about hyacinths but that’s what I could find that had the same looking spots on your plant.
