# I've had this plant for awhile - this is the first time it has…

I've had this plant for awhile - this is the first time it has flowered. But it is sticky and smells odd? Some of the stocks where I have cut off old leaves have turned gooey and odd. I've attached images. Is this normal? Any advice?

Could your plant be overwatered/underwatered? Just thinking this could be edema from overwatering

I mean it’s always a possibility! I don’t think it’s overwatered but that’s something i’ll check out :)

could it be EFN? i’m not super familiar with it but one of the planty youtubers i watch always complains about it. i guess it’s sticky \& she always wipes it off. i wonder if it comes out in relation to plants flowering?
