hi!! i have an echeveria that i bought last week and the leaves are starting to wilt and become soft. i thought it was because it was too overwatered, but now i changed the soil and haven’t done anything and it keeps getting worse. please help!! thank you!

a picture would help a lot, but it most likely is thirsty then! as long as the leaves arent transparent, it just needs a good drink.

Usually soft rubbery leaves indicate that it needs water, but if the soil is wet, you said maybe overwatered, then you probably have other issues. Maybe check the condition of the root system looking for rot.

some of the leaves have dark spots on them. i put the whole pot in water for a few minutes so it would get water from the bottom of the pot. how long should it take to see if that helps or not? if not, what do i do?
