What is going on here? This is on my Scindapsus exotica. My immediate thought is root rot due to soil staying wet for too long. I only watered it when completely dry, but it was in a plastic outer decorative pot- maybe that kept the soil wet for too long? Is that possible?

Hi love!! I’d suggest a well draining soil and to let it dry out quite a bit between waterings!
