Any ideas on how to stop this browning that has been occurring. I was gifted this guy when he was a bit smaller and am unsure what I am doing wrong. One thing I read stated using filtered water which I started doing a month ago. Any other suggestions.

Inconsistent watering. Also, terracotta or clay pots expel moisture out faster. Keep up with a regular schedule and it should do better. Also, you should try using rain water or distilled. The chemicals in tap water concentrate at the tips and “burns” them. Hope this helps.

Oh okay. Is a ceramic or plastic pot better? Thank you for the advice. I appreciate it. I got this app due to the inconsistency I had so that makes sense also.

I have my very own one! But I stopped using tap water and only water it when the top 1/4 is dry. You can still use a terracotta you might just have to keep up with watering a little more
