HELP!

I got this fiddle leaf fig back in January.
She came in the main and when I opened her she was full and had very healthy leaves.
It seemed like my problems were almost instant. Two months later her leaves started curling, browning, and falling off. I repotted moved her. It only got worse from there. A few months down the road I finally did some research (which I should have done in the first place 🤦‍♀️) and I moved her to the only south facing window I have. Again it only got worse.

This is her now. I really want to rescue her but I’m out of ideas. Definitely needs a bigger pot so I am taking care of that today.

Happy Happy Houseplant and Tanner the Planter on instagram/youtube both have so much great info on how to care for these!

I use Happy Happy Houseplant’s plant food, and I follow Tanner’s watering method of giving it a good soak when it is about 25-50% dry and keeping it in a well draining pot.

Good luck!

Ohh thank you so so much!
I just finished repotting her about five minutes ago! I will check these out right away!

Probably the problem is the HVAC vent on the floor. Move your plant or try using an air deflector to avoid direct air flow onto the plant.

I never even thought about that! Thank you so so much!

Don't forget to use a humidifier to help improve the air quality. HVAC systems can often dry out the air, so it's important to find ways to keep the air comfortable and healthy for your plants and you.

They hate dry air, keep humid, warm by a window with some sunlight but doesn’t need to be all day. Water when necessary, fertilize it with GT Foliage Focus. She will be good as new in a couple weeks 🙌🏼
