Hmm... are they getting bigger? I can't tell if they are roots or not. It looks so different then regular roots.

Looks like the beginnings of roots to me

I got that too, snd it freaked me out! If you leave it alone , it will be fine ( sorry I still dont know what it is or why it does that).
