Last year was a rough year for me and as a result my plants suffered. Several of them ended up dying.

This year has been much better and I have been regrowing my plant collection. They are like little green therapists! I look forward to my days off when I go around with my Planta app and check each one and see if they need what Planta is telling me. Friday is my favorite day because it’s misting day!

My corn plants kept trying to hold on, but they were suffering. Instead of sending them to the compost pile I decided to attempt to start them fresh. I stripped them down of their sad and browning leaves and stuck them in water in an attempt to grow new roots.

Will they bounce back from the brink of death? I’ve included photos of what ‘Saphira’ looked like prior to her chop and strip and photo of what they look like now.

I do have all these pieces in water, so I guess I’ll just wait and see!
