# Went on vacation for a week and came back to my new little fig leaf…

Went on vacation for a week and came back to my new little fig leaf bud all dried up. Can this be saved? I watered it right when I got home and it looked to have droopy leaves.

In this case, I would snip the top inch off between nodes. It should grow back, but that crusty leaflet can’t be grown.

that’s happened to me before 😩 i just let the baby leaf dry to the point that i can easily pop it off. the stem eventually grew more \& put out more leaves 😊
