# hi guys my mango seedling is getting some brown spots and i want to…

hi guys my mango seedling is getting some brown spots and i want to know how to help it. And another problem as shown in the pictures are the leaves are getting bitten by something and how i can prevent it could i use some sort of glass cover so the animals cant get to it?

Check humidity, light, \& soil drainage. If any of those things are off, it can affect your leaves like this. As for small pests, there are a few different things you can do. Change location, change the soil completely, You can also try neem oil, peppermint oil \& water too is a mix too you can spray the plant with. Watering with 1 part 3% Hydrogen peroxide \& 3 parts water can kill gnats and other small pests living in the soil in potted plants. (Just don’t over do it, \& don’t use this method after a draught) As for animals hard to say, I’d suggest a fence or some kind of barrier you can place around it.
