# Hey, does anyone have any advice? I am growing lots of runner beans…

Hey, does anyone have any advice? I am growing lots of runner beans plants, and slugs keep eating the leaves, I’ve tried using slug barrier pellets but have made no difference.. please if anyone can help my beans before it’s too late!!

My grandad used to use small trays sunken in the soil, full of beer, the slugs love to drink it and then they fall in and drown. Bit unconventional but it works!
