# Please help me save my baby 😭 I got him from my dad’s funeral in May…

Please help me save my baby 😭 I got him from my dad’s funeral in May 2023 and it’s breaking my heart that he’s not doing well. I already lost one of the stems in a similar way. Not sure what’s happening here. The soil is still moist- my toddler gave him extra water last week 🤦🏽‍♀️. I keep him in a well lit area

At first guess, it seems that pot is too big for the size of your plant. That much soil may be keeping the roots too wet.

I would start small. Maybe 4” depending on the size of the roots.

I had the same issue. Are you watering her with the sink water? These babies has lime sensitivity. Rain water is the best. Or boil your water allow it to cool/ room temperature. 😊please keep me posted

Thank you! I have been using both sink water and bottled/purified. Is fish water good? I have a gold fish

Yes but please avoid salt-water tanks. Fish water is beneficial because of the nitrogen, potassium and a few other things. And Gold fish creates a lot of waste which is a plus. However, salt any medication, or any chemical, including pH adjusters or algae killers etc may cause harm. 🌱🐟
