# Hello! I have a birds of paradise plant and I have a humidifier…

Hello! I have a birds of paradise plant and I have a humidifier running close by to it and it’s placed in a well lit window with direct sunlight. I’ve started to notice these brown spots and was wondering if the window it’s in is TOO bright. I’ve been rotating it often throughout the day so the sun isn’t sitting on leaves for a extended period of time. Is this normal or should I move it to a less bright area.

Birds of paradise get this all the time it could be sunburn or just scratch trama
