# It’s doing well but I just recently noticed some of the bottom stems…

It’s doing well but I just recently noticed some of the bottom stems or leaves fall off! Is this normal? I still see new leaves starting to come in!

Most likely old leaves dying off. Nothing to worry about. But if newer leaves fall off then there might be an issue

I haven’t had any leaf drop on mine, I tried to do a little digging and I don’t think this is normal.

What do the leaves that drop look/feel like? Are they yellow? Mushy/crispy?

I think that pot is a little too big for this guy though. They have very small root structures so they typically need smaller pots. Make sure the roots are filling out the spot and not swimming in there!

Yeah well the leaves look healthy enough actually. Not yellow or mushy! And it’s in the pot it came in so idk

I’ll keep an eye on it and see what happens. Luckily the new leaves coming in are staying put
