I just bought this corn plant from Costco a few days ago. Some of the leaves had some dark edges (not crispy though) and also some dark spots edged in yellow. I thought maybe it was due to transporting from the nursery and in my car, but now I’m worried it could be a fungus. I used planta diagnose app and said it was just maybe overwatering (I have not watered yet). Can anyone tell me if I have a fungus problem? If it is fungus I want to return or try to cut off the affected leaves right away.

Can’t tell if it’s fungus or bugs, but I would guess overwatering from Costco. I have a corn plant and it gets brown edges when I use tap water.

I have heard that they are sensitive to the fluorides and chemicals in tap water. I’m going to try to use distilled and rainwater when I can, but I think I’ll let it dry out just a bit since soil does feel wet. I’m going to hope it’s just overwatered. Thank you for the answer!
