# Any ideas why my tornado Dracaena is not growing? It’s been like this…

Any ideas why my tornado Dracaena is not growing? It’s been like this for almost a year. The two little leaves in the middle have been that way for almost a year too which is where the new leaves usually come out.

well the spots on the leaves indicate an illness your plant has probably been dealing with for a while, stunting its growth. “survival mode”

this yellowing on the edges could be from your tap water — these are sensitive to fluoride. could also be overwatering, but if it’s been in stasis this long i’m betting it’s your tap water

Ah I know that we have hard water cause it has limestone particles in it. Maybe distilled water would help? If it is in survival mode do you think it could still be saved? I also bought some leca balls to see if that helps.

These guys are the slowest growers from my experience.
