Help! My parlor palm just doesn’t look right. What am I doing wrong?

Pot is 4 inches
Indoor potting mix soil
Water once a week (when soil is dry about 1 inch deep) and mist occasionally throughout the week when it’s hot
Indirect / direct light throughout the day

Repot your plant to a pot about two inches larger in width and height

Parlor palms don't like direct sunlight. It can scorch the leaves. Try relocating it so that it only receives indirect light.

Too much water

It looks like it needs better draining pot. They like soil similar to cactus soil and only require watering 1x per month 2x per month summer. They don’t like more water than that

And don’t mist. Most plants don’t need misting. Increases risk of rot

Thank you all! I have moved to a slightly larger pot with better drainage and put in a location that doesn’t have direct light.
