This was found on a leaf of my split leaf philodendron when I was cleaning the leaves.  
I cut the leaf off and am wondering if it is something I need to treat the plant for?

Not sure if this is the issue, but look up bacterial infections for plants; lost almost half of my collection from that. The bright yellow spots in your photo look reminiscent of what mine had. I hope you can solve this soon! 🤞
