What could be wrong with my golden pothos? As you can tell by the pictures, it started with a brown spot on the biggest leaf, and slowly turned the whole leaf yellow. It looks like the same will happen to the e second leaf, any tips? I recently downsized to a smaller pot.

Check the roots for rot. If they are good, it could be transplant shock which happens when plants are adjusting. Just make sure to let it dry between waterings. They are typically hearty plants that can handle a little neglect.

Add perlite to increase drainage. I can’t see any in the soil. Don’t let water sit in the drainage saucer. Water it at a sink or tub. Then, put it back on the drainage saucer after the flow of water drops. You’re trying to avoid leaving the roots in standing water. Water only when the soil completely dries and not by a schedule. Give it more indirect sunlight or a 12 hr grow light. Leaves can die off when the photosynthesis process slows from low light conditions. 🪴🍀

Looks like one of my houseplants.

They are not to fond of wet soil. Let it dry out before watering again.
