Spider mites?

### Uncle Derrick commented on 2026-10-25

They are light brown spots I have treated for mites I did not see any

Could be sun spots, doesnt look like normal mite damage. I would try taking it out of full sun and seeing if the new leaves still have it

It’s like sun tan. You can tell it’s pulling out the same color as the leaf edges. Pretty!

Is your plant new? Mine from the store/nursery had those on the older leaves and I wonder if it’s sunburn from the water droplets or whatever they spray them with when watering.

Same situation where the new leaves coming in since being there were nice and smooth, no spots.
